When visiting us at Satori, you have undoubted noticed music is an important part of our being. Whether it is live band, spinning tunes on our 1000-watt outdoor sound system, or an impromptu song or two on the winery guitar, we have found music complements Satori wines perfectly. I guess it should come as no surprise since Tom also has music playing inside the winery 24/7. That means the wines aging in the barrels hear about 13,000 hours of music before being bottled.
Do you have some favorite music you enjoy with our wines? If so, bring your iPod or CD to the winery this weekend and we will share it with our other guests.
Bring your Ukulele on Sunday
Last weekend several of our guests were talking about the resurgence of the ukulele in contemporary music. After heydays in the 1920's and again in the 1950's, the ukulele is again on what has been called its third wave of popularity. We thought it might be fun to invite people to bring their ukulele to Satori on Sunday for a little jam. Even if you have a uke and don't know how to play, bring it Sunday, maybe we can show you a song or two! To entice you even further - we will offer free tasting to anyone bringing a uke!
